There are caretakers and then there are those who truly become an extension of your family. We are looking for a long-term, loving nanny to care for our two boys starting June 15th (40-45 hrs/week; $20-25/hr, plus benefits). Seeking someone who is patient, communicative, and intellectually curious about young children and their development. Nanny must be fully vaccinated and have strong previous employer references. Long-term, Full-Time Position (40-45hrs/week) Schedule: 9:00am - 6:00pm Pay: $20-$25/hour, based on experience Benefits: 9 paid holidays / 3 sick days About Our Family We have two boys (1.5yrs and 4.5yrs). They are little explorers who love to ride their bikes, run, climb, and play with just about anything that involves a ball. Growing up in the pandemic, they’re on the shy side at first, but love being around people. Both have big imaginations so we are seeking someone who will enjoy motivating and creatively challenging them through positive reinforcement. Originally from the Midwest, our family will be moving back home to Central Naperville this June (from San Francisco) to live closer to the grandparents. My husband and I will be working remotely from home on west coast hours. Responsibilities Include: Our oldest will be starting Kindergarten in the fall, so you’ll be caring for one child on most mornings then both boys in the afternoon. Duties include: motivating good behavior through modeling, following toddler nap/meal schedule, helping with pick-up / drop-offs (experienced driver), actively engaging in age-appropriate activities (no screen time), creating opportunities for kids to socialize (e.g. taking to nearby parks, classes/activities, play dates, etc.) and light household work (e.g. tidy up play areas, load/unload dishwasher, folding laundry, etc.). Additional Details • Fluent in English (speaking / texting) • Must have good driving record • CPR certified (if not, we can provide online training) • Up-to-date on immunizations (including COVID-19) • Non-smoker Ideal caretaker has toddler experience, is trustworthy, dependable, takes initiative (self-starter) and enjoys working as part of a family team.
