About this nanny job
We are looking for a live-in nanny to assist us with our very sweet 5-year-old son and darling 3-year-old daughter. Our son will be in kindergarten and daughter will be attending a half-day nursery school program. We have had a live-in nanny for the last two years but she is sadly leaving in August to start grad school out-of-state. We live in Chevy Chase, DC, which is in northwest Washington, DC. We are a 1/2 block from a large park with multiple playgrounds and another block to our son's elementary school. We are about a 15-20 minute walk (or short drive) to our daughter's nursery school. We are within walking distance of several restaurants and shops, CVS, movie theater, weekend farmer’s market, Starbucks and a 25-minute walk to the metro and with even more shops and restaurants. We are also within walking distance of Rock Creek Park, which is lovely for a run or hike. We live in a lovely community with a lot of young families. We are looking for someone who can help with dropping off and picking up the kids from school, preparing their breakfast and lunch, keeping the children's areas organized, and doing their laundry. We would prefer someone who has their own car and is willing to drive the children around. We anticipate the hours to be 8-9AM and 12-6PM. We can offer a private bedroom with a full bathroom and a private entrance. This is an ideal position for someone who is taking classes at night or on the weekends. We are also open to a live-out nanny. We are happy to put any potential candidates in touch with our nanny.Nanny job details
