About this nanny job

We are looking for a caring, nurturing, qualified nanny to pick up and care for our daughter after school every day. She is 4 and starting kindergarten in South Slope, BK, this September. This role would be guaranteed 15 hours per week, and ideally you’d do bedtime once a week for date night once our daughter is comfortable. You’d be responsible for picking her up (a few blocks from our apartment) and spending the afternoon with her, plus making a simple dinner and doing bath once or twice a week. We’d love someone who can engage in extracurricular activities with her, like helping her with spelling, reading, arts and crafts, and doing some physical activity. We’re a welcoming and caring family, who have always treated our daughter’s care providers as one of our own. Please reach out if you’re looking for a longer term arrangement, as we’d ideally have the same nanny for several years throughout elementary school.
