About this nanny job

Our family is expanding and we are looking for a part-time caregiver to help us grow! During the early summer months, this would include caring for our happy, smart, and kind four year-old daughter, Reina (trips to the park, play dates, easy snacks and meals, playtime and reading, etc.) and help with her laundry and keeping her toys and art supplies organized. Light housework a major plus. Days and hours flexible. Baby number two is due in early August! Mom is a stay-at-home Mom and will primarily care for infant, but will need help with both children as we settle into a new routine. Dad works from home and needs most of the day to focus, so park, library, and museum trips for Reina would be ideal. Mom would love time to rest, shower, and exercise a few hours a week. In September, Reina will be in full-day Kindergarten on the UWS, so we will then need help with drop off or pickup, and/or more help with caring for the baby, including baby’s laundry, diapers, bottles, etc. We are hoping we could work together to figure out a schedule and caregiver responsibilities that best suits us all as Mom recovers, so we would approach this time with flexibility and openness, and perhaps a little trial and error! We have a small apartment in Hell’s Kitchen with a large outdoor space and a park across the street. Reina spends a lot of time on the UWS as her school, church, and school friends are all located there. She loves Central Park, arts and crafts, gymnastics, legos, riding her scooter and bicycle, and playing pretend. We have a large rescue dog, Meatball, who is well-behaved, trained, friendly, and Reina’s best friend. We are a very laid back, happy, and healthy family but need a little extra help keeping everyone that way! Plus, we’d like to be a bit more organized and less exhausted (don’t we all?).
