About this nanny job

We are looking for a part time nanny for our 4-month-old starting Sept 1st with the potential for full time employment. If you are already working with another family part time, we are open to splitting the time with the family as well. We're looking for someone who can cover 2 weekdays a week (flexible on days) 8am to 5pm. Preference for someone with experience with newborns and pay is negotiable based on experience. We are open to pay via cash, credit card, zelle, etc. We will be booking prior to Sept 1. When we first meet, we will treat it as an interview/training session to see if it is a good fit. We will show you around and can discuss our baby's daily routine. You will of course get paid for your time. We are both young professionals and are a family that is multicultural. We are looking for someone who enjoys taking care of babies, communicative, and friendly. Dad works from home so he can be a helpful and a direct resource throughout the day, but we hope you can work independently after some time. Mom has a flexible schedule so can accommodate different days/hours as needed as long as it is communicated at least a month in advance. For the most part, baby will be asleep in your arms or swaddled in the bassinet. Every 2-3 hours she will need a diaper change, feeding, then burping usually in that order. We take covid seriously and have taken every precaution to not bring it into the household. It is required for you to be fully vaccinated including any boosters if you are eligible. Duties include: - swaddling (we have various types of swaddles) - cloth diaper changes, must be comfortable with the occasional blow out (we have a diaper service so no laundry required) - bottle preparation and feeding (we have a bottle warmer that only takes a few minutes) - bottle cleaning (we have a baby brezza for quick drying) - burping - at least one activity with baby (tummy time, reading books) and/or stroller/carrier walk (there are plenty of parks walking distance) If interested, please send us a message with some info about yourself and why you think you would be a good fit.
