About this nanny job

Our family is looking for an attuned, connected caregiver/ nature educator/preschool teacher for a part-time, primarily outdoor, share care for our 2 year old and one or two other 2 year old friends in San Francisco (bernal/mission). We would love care Wednesday, Friday mornings, with potential for additional care depending on schedule and needs. We are a close-knit crew of families consciously parenting our kiddos: we have 2 year olds who spend lots of time together at a nature playgroup I lead (wiseearthcollective.com) and are looking for a caregiver who is aligned with our parenting values, excited to be out in nature with kiddos, and loves to be with kiddos in awe and wonder. We are looking for someone who validates big feelings, provides a loving container, and is gentle/non-shaming in their approach to discipline. We’d love to find someone that loves to be with kiddos in their creative, imaginative play! Someone who gets in there level, follows their lead, and sees the world through their eyes. Folks with backgrounds in attachment parenting, constructivist/emergent/progressive/democratic ways of being with kids would be great fits. CIIS graduate students, ECE program students, kids music teachers, art teachers , yoga teachers, forest school teachers…all could be great fits!
