About this nanny job

Hi, we a fun-loving family of 4 (mom, dad and out 3 months old twin girls) located in Seattle, Belltown. We are close to Sculpture Park, Seattle Center, Pike Place Market, etc. – perfect for heading outside for walks and playtime with our girls. We both work full-time, primarily from home but occasionally go into the office. I’m breastfeeding and would love to continue nurse as my meeting schedule allows. About You: You love kids! Especially babies. You’re reliable, punctual and organized. You have excellent communication skills, and value developing a positive working relationship with our family (including two-way feedback!). You’re kind, caring and patient. You create a safe, supportive environment of learning, play and exploration. What We’re Offering You: • Guaranteed 32 hours per week; ideally 9a.m.-3:30 or 4p.m. Monday-Friday (flexible to 40 hours/week for right fit) • 3-month commitment with long-term opportunity • $28-30/hr depending on experience • Paid cash or through payroll service • Easy parking next to the building (if needed – also easy access to Seattle bus lines) • 12 days paid vacation (one day for every months of work) • Early March start date (flexible to April 1st) Requirements: • 1+ years of experience with infants/twins or care for 2 babies • Fully vaccinated (COVID, Flu, TDAP) • Current Infant CPR and First Aid certifications • Non-smoker/vaper • Clean background check and excellent references • Fluent in English Ideal but not Required: • Early Childhood Education Associate or Bachelor’s degree (or currently in school) • Experience in Montessori or Waldorf • Proficiency or fluency in second language Responsibilities: • Baby care including feeding (bottle and baby-led weaning) and cleaning up after (e.g., bottles, smocks, high chair), diaper changes, tidying up toys during nap time • Daily walks outside (if weather allows) • Engaging kid in age-appropriate activities e.g., reading, music, independent play, walks
