About this nanny job

My husband and I are looking for a wonderful nanny to start in May to care for our precious 1 year old son (he’ll be 1 in April). About us and what we’re looking for: we are a hard working and loving family of 3 in Bernal heights looking for a professional and caring nanny. I work from home in a home office and my husband occasionally works from home or from his office outside the home. We’d like to create an enriching environment for our son and hope to find a nanny who enjoys reading to him, playing with him, preparing meals, and who can take him to the park, play groups, the library, and possibly even swim classes in the future. Ideally we’d like someone who wants to be with us for multiple years. About the job: -Location: Bernal Heights near Precita Park -Hours: 8am - 4pm Monday - Friday with guaranteed hours -Pay: open to discussion, we will want to go through a payroll service and do everything above the table (including withholding tax) but aim to still keep your take home pay around $30/hour for the 40 hours a week guaranteed -Paid time off: 10 vacation days + major holidays + any days we are traveling (including all of Christmas to New Years) + sick days -Start date: May (exact start date can be flexible) -Must haves: fully vaccinated, good communication skills, caring / positive attitude, experience with infants and toddlers -Nice to have: CPR certification, comfort taking toddler to the pool, live close by or a short commute -Driving: not required -Responsibilities: taking care of our kiddo, providing enriching and fun activities for him (e.g. reading, play, going to the park), helping with his lunch meal prep, helping me with his laundry once a week if time allows
