About this nanny job

Eric and I are looking for a Nanny to join our family and provide excellent childcare to our kids. Gus is 4 1/2 and loves superhero’s and zombies, Josie is 2 1/2 and currently thinks she is Elsa from the movie Frozen, and Walt is 1 and loves warm hugs and ritz crackers! You’ll take care of kiddos, keep them safe and clean, plan meals for them and organize creative and educational activities based on their age. Starting in August, you’ll need to pick Gus up from school, which is walking distance from our house! If you love working – and playing – with children and, also feel comfortable handling the less appealing tasks, such as changing diapers and tidying up children’s rooms, folding occasional laundry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you’ll reassure us that, even when we are not around, our children remain in a safe and pleasant environment. Responsibilities * Organize creative activities and educational games (e.g. drawing, crafting and puppet games) * Prepare children’s meals and feed them (including bottle-feeding for babies) * Change diapers * Schedule nap times * Teach children appropriate social behaviors, such as being respectful to each other and helping out with chores * Transport Gus to and from school (starting in August) * Tidy up play areas and children’s room * Ensure children’s safety during indoors and outdoors activities * Take care of children in case of injury or illness * Perform housekeeping tasks as needed * Work with parents to ensure children’s growth and social development * Have fun
