About this nanny job

We are looking for a magical summer babysitter who can set a schedule for our boys and prioritize outside time. We Nate looking for a babysitter who is comfortable with twins and can handle two different personalities. Sometimes they run in opposite directions in the park. 🫣 This means you’re comfortable setting kind and firm limits, can handle the spontaneity of toddlerhood, and don’t get frustrated easily. We value using positive language and being consistent. We are looking for someone who loves spending time outside, can maneuver a stroller out and about with two 35lb kids, doesn’t mind walking 35-40 min to the zoo, meeting up with other friends, playing at Le Frak splash pad, catching bugs in Prospect Park, adventuring in general. We hope for someone with some rainy day tricks up their sleeve and who loves going to the library. You should be super safe street conscious and know when to reapply that sunscreen! Occasionally, you will take one twin while we spend some time with the other. We’re really looking for someone to bond with our boys and make this time their own. I know everyone babysits for money but please really REALLY love kids. (I was a nanny for 6 years and I’m a teacher so I have high expectations!) We’re hoping for someone who might also be flexible for date nights or after school in the fall but that is not required. Please have at least two recent references from families you have worked with, be ok with a background check, Covid vaccinated, and have or are willing to do CPR training.
