About this nanny job
We seek a long-term, afterschool / after camp caregiver for our 10yo 4th grader who is in the NYC schools' Nest program for children with high functioning autism. Our son's interests include geography, board games, magic tricks, American Ninja Warriors, rock climbing, Minecraft, and video games. His primary challenges are around anxiety, emotional regulation, and rigidity. We seek an upbeat, creative, and sensitive caregiver who has worked with autistic or neurodivergent children and has experience handling anxiety, rigidity, and occasional emotional outbursts. Duties would include picking up from school/camp, playing, and preparing snacks. We are looking for M-F 2-6:30 pm, and would like to find someone who is looking for a long-term position.
