My boyfriend and I are looking for a sitter for our newborn once I return to work! We are hoping to find someone who is flexible as my partners schedule is typically sporadic from week to week and my schedule for October through December is still awaiting approval. Our boy is due September 4th so we are hoping to find someone with newborn experience! We are very keen on using gentle parenting so we ask that you do the same as our child learns and grows. We are open to paying anywhere between 15-23$ depending on your desired wage, experience, credentials, and compatibility to the family. Below are some required and preferred traits for our perfect sitter! Must Have- Pet Friendly Reliable Transportation Good Time Management/Punctuality Enthusiasm for babies/children Great Communication At least 1 year infant experience 3 Professional References (1 in childcare) Valid Drivers License/ID Ability to pass a Background Check Ability to pass a Drug Test Brownie Points- Energetic and gentle personality Flexible CPR/First Aid certified Childcare related Degree Clean driving record Open to Meal Preparation/Cooking Open to Light Housework Open to Pet Care Open to running Errands (mainly groceries) Open to tax withholding (payroll) Hours could shorten on occasion, with ample notice given, depending on my partner’s work schedule.
