About this nanny job

Looking for an experienced and energetic nanny to run our weekday mornings with efficiency, solid communication, and empathy. The eleven year old is pretty self sufficient. We’ll need you to make sure the five year old brushed his teeth and gets dressed on time, and warm up a prepped breakfast for him, while caring for the one year old. Then get all the kids to school. Still deciding but the longest school commute we are considering is thirty minutes. This is a last minute unexpected move (as in we are currently in California) so it’s a lot of transition for the kids. We’d love to find a great fit and stick with them for a while. We’ve built a solid nanny team in California, some of whom are moving out to VA permanently and others will just come help with the move, so you will not be alone at the start but this is a shift we hope someone can manage independently once everyone is acclimated to each other. Love to hear about educational or child development philosophies you find interesting, excited to hear from you and perhaps get coffee in person on one of my trips out to tour homes and schools. Lots of opportunities for additional hours but nothing required beyond the weekday morning guaranteed hours.
