About this nanny job

My husband and I are seeking a nanny for our daughter starting part-time in January, with the option to move to full-time. We are looking for someone with availability 2-3 days a week (hours flexible) to start. We are also interested in occasional evening / weekend hours. Our Family - We live in the West Loop neighborhood in a townhome. My husband works a hybrid schedule and I work from home. We also have a 3 year old doodle dog, who is very friendly and energetic. The Position - We are looking for an experienced, kind & reliable nanny for our daughter. We are hoping to find a long-term caregiver that is the right fit for our family. Our ideal nanny candidate has the following qualifications: - CPR & first aid certified - Non-smoker - Updated on vaccines - Excellent references - Extensive experience caring for infants / small children (ex., familiarity with age-appropriate developmental & educational activities) - Supportive of gentle routines as our daughter grows (ex., sleep & wake schedules) - Comfortable taking our daughter on walks, to the library, etc. (all walkable from our home) - Willing to do light housework for our daughter (ex., baby laundry, bottles, etc.) - Comfortable with dogs - Comfortable going up/down stairs frequently
