Job Title: Mother’s Helper – Flexible Support (Sat Feb 28, 1–5pm) We’re looking for a calm, dependable, and flexible mother’s helper for Saturday, February 28 from 1:00–5:00pm. We have two boys (ages 4 and 1.5), and one or both parents will be home. This is a flexible support role. Some of the time may involve household help, and some may involve childcare — but not both at the same time. If you’re actively watching the kids, you won’t be expected to do housework. Household tasks may include: • Folding/putting away laundry • Dishes • Simple meal prep • Tidying toys and common areas Childcare support may include: • Playing with one or both kids • Taking our 4-year-old outside for a reset • Supporting calm, low-stimulation time Our older son has some sensory-related regulation challenges and can have big emotions at times. He does best with a patient, steady adult. Experience with strong emotions or neurodivergent kids is a plus. The afternoon may feel a little busy — or it may be smooth! We’re looking for someone who can read the room and adapt. There may also be future opportunities for the right fit, as this may not be a one-time need.
