About this nanny job
We're looking for part-time care 25ish hours a week, primarily Monday thru Thursday 8am-2/3pm, for our newborn son in Bothell/Mill Creek area. We're flexible on start date, but ideally you'd start in early February. We'd like to have an initial intro phone call, Zoom interview, and trial day all within the next week or two. Open to paying $18-20/hr, depending on experience and willingness to take on light housekeeping tasks. Our son will be 3 months old in February and we have a one year old pup (Lab/Pointer mix). We're both working from home upstairs at this time. You'd have the whole first floor of our house during the day, as well as the upstairs nursery. Childcare would include reading, playing, walks, and keeping play areas tidy, along with facilitating & tracking a flexible routine of feedings/diaper changes/wake time/nap time. If interested in light housekeeping, that could include vacuuming, baby laundry, dishwasher loading/unloading, and bottle care & sterilization. Ideal candidate would: -be following CDC Covid protocols & have small bubble/social distancing -be up to date on flu shot, vaccines, and provide a recent negative covid test -have CPR/First Aid certifications and be comfortable with background check -be fluent in English -be a non-smoker -have own transportation -is OK with 6-7 hours per day Monday - Thursday, with the potential for some extended days & Friday hours as well as needed -is comfortable & loving with pets -have several years experience caring for newborns -be easygoing, punctual, reliable & communicative -provide referencesNanny job details
