About this nanny job

Dad is a manager at Kroger, and I (mom) have been working part-time from home. I need to increase my hours, which is difficult with a young little one at home. I am looking for someone to watch Little Dude in the late mornings and afternoons so that I can work. I will be home, just working. Little Dude has a congenital heart defect and has already had two open heart surgeries. For this reason, we have been extra careful during covid. He's doing great! Other than taking medications regularly, he's your typical child. you won't be expected to give him any medications. However, we need to be sure that anyone coming in the house is being careful with their own health to make sure he is safe. Depending on agreed upon hours, you might be giving him his lunch. He will also need to go down for a nap in the afternoon. Otherwise, you're just keeping him entertained and engaged. He loves reading books, singing, and is very curious. Due to his health issues and covid, he has not been around many people, and definitely has not been held by a lot of people besides me and dad. I expect there will need to be a "getting to know you" period, which will be paid. He is also going through a mommy-centric phase right now. He doesn't even like it when I leave him with Dad to work. As long as he's fed and well rested, he has a very happy disposition. We also have two dogs in the home. A German Shepherd mix and an Australian Shepherd mix. Both are perfectly gentle. you wouldn't be expected to do anything for them.
