About this nanny job
We are 2 podded families seeking a warm, experienced, full-time nanny for a nanny-share for one 4-year old boy and one nearly 4-year-old boy starting March 11. We are looking to pay $30 per hour over the table. Ideally, we’d like someone to join us until the end of August 2021. Care would occur alternating in our homes, which are within 1 mile of each other near Davis Square, Somerville. In one home, we have two older children (ages 12 & 14) who are independent and responsible. Both houses have indoor and outdoor play space for the nanny share. One home has a hypoallergenic dog and a cat; the other has two cats. We are following COVID precautions very carefully. We are masking, distancing, and minimizing any indoor time with others outside of the pod (e.g. using delivery for groceries). We do have some in-person requirements for work and school, but we seek to make those as safe as possible (double/filter masking, etc.). We would require personal (not public) transportation to/from our houses, but driving the kids is not a requirement. Our boys are hungry to learn about the world, silly, and love playing together. We’d love to find someone who loves to join in their imaginative play and is enthusiastic about guiding their learning through play.
