About this nanny job

Located in the Point Breeze section of South Philadelphia, our family is seeking an energetic, reliable and experienced nanny to provide child care in our home for two boys [ages 1 and 3 years old] beginning in late April/May 2021. Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 9am – 5pm, inclusive of allocated break time.   Our family desires a caretaker who practices conservative COVID-safe precautions. (We have an immune compromised family. In addition, we regularly care/visit an elderly grandparent.) Both parents are working from home pending employer's direction.   Selected person must take social distancing very seriously; have previous nanny experience and references; current child abuse clearances; CPR trained, non-smoker; ability to oversee a food allergy (eggs); has own personal transportation (will not utilize public transportation or ride shares such as Uber, Lyft, etc.); must be punctual and able to adhere to the standard work schedule, help with light housekeeping and toddler potty training; and comfortable with a pet cat in the home. We would also prefer someone who has already or would be willing to receive the flu vaccine and eventually the COVID-19 vaccination [when made available]. (We are willing to assist with medical cost associated with the above-mentioned vaccinations as needed.) Someone local to South Philly/walking distance is a plus, but not required.   Position includes paid vacation, holiday and incidental absence (i.e. sick/personal time).
