About this nanny job

We are seeking a warm, reliable caregiver for our infant son (currently 2.5 months old). This position is for July and August, with care needed 3days per week (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays) for 10 hours per day. We’re looking for someone who is dedicated to supporting our son’s growth and development, actively engaging him throughout the day and helping him meet developmental milestones. He is generally calm and easygoing when his needs are met and routines are followed. Requirements: Valid driver’s license (for minor emergencies, such as a trip to urgent care). Fluent in English. Current infant CPR/First Aid certification. Current on all vaccinations. 3 strong references. Responsible, reliable, and solid communication skills. Familiarity with: Safe handling of breastmilk and formula/Car seat and transportation safety/Safe sleep practices. Willingness to help with light baby-related tasks: Washing bottles/Baby laundry/Emptying diaper pail. Non-smoker. Willingness to follow our family’s parenting preferences and routines. Preferred Qualifications: Experience caring for infants (0–12 months.) Background or formal training in early childhood development. Fluent in a second language and comfortable engaging in language-rich activities (e.g., books, songs, play) in that language. Musical abilities (singing, instruments, etc..) Enjoys spending time outdoors—we’d love for our baby to get plenty of fresh air and sunshine. Comfortable offering developmental insights, resources, or recommendations. Compensation and Benefits: Paid federal holidays that fall on a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday. Up to 2 paid sick days. There may be an option to extend, increasing to 4–5 days per week for any additional months. Additional sick leave time will be added if the position is extended. Please note: We have cats in the home.
