My wife and I are searching for a kind, patient nanny/household assistant with experience and good references to help with full-time weekday care of our 9mo old daughter as well as help around the house. We are quiet, caring, and respectful people who cherish our daughter. We can be a bit particular about her care and structure/cleanliness around the house, so we would love to connect with someone who can seamlessly work with our values and preferences. We live in Mountain View and also have one quiet, well-behaved, medium-sized senior dog. Caregiver duties would include: play/engagement during wake time (baby-led play, reading books, talking and singing to baby, teaching developmental skills, etc), changing diapers, burping, napping the baby (including singing lullabies), bathing, feeding solids and associated meal cleanup/prep (our baby is primarily breastfed but has been starting solids with baby-led weaning). Additional household help needed includes: vacuuming, laundry, dishes, organizing, and basic cleaning. Requirements: up to date on all vaccinations (including annual COVID and flu shots); adhere to good hygiene and illness mitigation measures; excellent English speaking skills; certified in infant and child CPR/first-aid (able to provide proof); clean criminal record (willing to be subject to or provide a background check); reliable transportation with clean driving record; legally allowed to work in the US; and most importantly, must love working with babies and possess the patience to do so calmly and lovingly at all times.
