About this nanny job

Hi! I’m a single mom in Evanston looking for a kind, dependable part-time babysitter for my 4-year-old son, Santana, while I return to work this summer. Santana attends Joseph E. Hill Preschool part-time, just up the road from our apartment. Schedule: Monday–Friday • 6:30 AM – 8:00 AM – Arrive by 6:30 he will be dressed/breakfast eaten, I just need someone here to get him on the bus to school around 8am • 12:30 PM – 6:00 PM – Be home to get him off the bus and stay with him until I return from work Pay: I understand this isn’t a traditional hourly setup—I’m offering around $350–$360 per week, which is what I can manage financially right now. I’m absolutely open to working something out that feels fair for both of us. Start Date: June 23 End Date: End of July Location: Evanston (near two really great pars) What you should know: • Santana is still working on potty training, so someone patient and supportive is ideal • I’ll have all his snacks and lunch prepped before I leave for work • You’re welcome to help yourself to anything in the apartment (meals, snacks, etc.) • There’s a park just steps away, and he loves spending time outside if the weather is nice • Most importantly, I need someone who will keep my son safe, engaged, and cared for while I’m working full-time, Monday through Friday, I leave no later than 6:45 AM and will be home around 6PM If you’re interested or know someone who might be, I’d love to hear from you.
