Job Title: Part-Time Nanny | Work from home Household (Newborn Care) Location: Baton Rouge, LA Schedule: Consistent part-time hours during the workweek (exact days/times TBD) Start Date: September 1 About the Role: We are seeking a kind, trustworthy, and responsible caregiver to help care for our firstborn son. I work from home and need part-time support during the day, primarily while I’m in meetings. The schedule is fairly consistent and should remain stable, with occasional flexibility. About Our Family: We are a faith-filled Christian family who values kindness, integrity, and a peaceful home environment. We are looking for someone who shares similar values and will help nurture those qualities in our son from the start. Primary Responsibilities: - Provide attentive care for our newborn during scheduled hours - Bottle feeding, diaper changes, and infant soothing - Maintain a clean and peaceful environment for rest and play - Light household chores such as: - Dishes - Laundry (baby and light household) - Vacuuming or light tidying - Letting our two friendly dogs in and out as needed throughout the day Additional Notes: - You may be asked to provide occasional additional coverage with advance notice - Caregiver time will be shared with a family member throughout the week, so we can be flexible if a particular day or time doesn’t work for you Ideal Candidate: - CPR and Infant First Aid certified - Non-smoker - Comfortable with pets - Dependable, nurturing, and calm - Strong communicator, respectful of our home and parenting style - Shares or respects Christian values and is comfortable working in a faith-centered environment Compensation: [$10–$20/hour depending on experience] If you feel called to serve and support a young family through this important season of life, we’d love to hear from you.
