Hi! I’m Mei — a work-from-home mom in Columbia Heights looking for a full-time nanny (Mon–Thu, ~9:30 AM–5:30 PM) and flexibility for some Fridays or Saturdays to care for my sweet, sensitive 11-month-old baby boy. We’re looking for someone who is: • Emotionally attuned and nurturing — someone who speaks gently, acknowledges feelings respectfully, and offers calm guidance. • Experienced with infants and confident in maintaining routines — especially around sleep, feeding, diapering, and sensory-friendly play. • Passionate about reading and early learning — we read often and want a caregiver who brings stories to life and encourages language development. • Comfortable supporting light household duties like tidying play areas, washing bottles, baby laundry, and keeping common areas clean and organized. Basically, cleaning as you go. • Mindful of cleanliness and sensitive skin — attention to hygiene is key. • Comfortable working alongside a parent who is home and engaged during the day. We believe in a calm, respectful environment where babies are guided with love, not control. Someone who can notice sleepy cues, guide expression of needs, and create a peaceful rhythm to the day will be the perfect fit. We’d love to start with a paid trial day to get to know each other and see how things flow.
