About this nanny job

I’m currently looking for a nurturing and reliable nanny to primarily care for my 3.5 year old son, with occasional help with my newborn daughter. Care would take place in my home, where my mom is also helping out with the baby during the day. The focus would be on supporting my toddler during this transition to being a big brother. We follow a Montessori inspired approach at home encouraging independence, curiosity, and hands on learning through daily routines and play. I’m looking for someone who naturally aligns with that style and can help foster language development through rich conversation, outdoor exploration (walks, park visits, backyard play), and age-appropriate activities. Key responsibilities include: Engaging with my son through play and conversation to support language and social development Lots of outside time and movement Light tidying and household tasks Helping with lunch, dinner, and bedtime routine Occasional support with my newborn, especially if my mom needs a break Schedule: Thursdays: 1:30 PM – 9:00 PM Saturdays: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM One weekday (ideally Monday): 9:00 AM – 2:00/3:00 PM Meals will be prepped when possible, and food will always be available for simple lunch preparation.
