About this nanny job

We’re a warm family seeking a dependable, patient, organized, and proactive nanny to assist with our two children, especially our youngest (ages 4 and 1). This part-time position combines homeschool assistance, general childcare, and light household organization. The ideal candidate is energetic, caring, enjoys engaging children in both educational and playful activities, and is comfortable with hands-on care and supporting daily routines. Key responsibilities include assisting with daily homeschool routines (no formal teaching required), supervising learning, reading, crafts, and joining in outings to local parks, libraries, museums, and nature walks. The nanny should also be comfortable supporting pool and water play activities, ensuring safety and supervision at all times. Additional duties include playing, feeding, changing diapers, and assisting with potty training. Light housekeeping is also expected—such as tidying up play and learning areas, helping keep the house organized, and preparing snacks or simple meals. We are looking for someone calm, loving, and motivating. Strong communication and reliability are also highly valued. Experience with young children is required. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred but not required. Bilingual skills, especially fluency in Spanish, are strongly valued. The start date is flexible. I will be present at all times, and we are looking for someone who is comfortable following my lead and working together as a team.
