About this nanny job

We are seeking an experienced nanny to care for our two children (2 years old and 5 years old) on weekday evenings from Monday to Thursday and to assist with household tasks. One parent will generally be present in the evenings (occasionally will not be present due to work or due to other circumstances). The role requires experience with multiple children and being comfortable to walk in order to pick-up the kids from preschool/after-care program in the neighborhood on occasions and as necessary (no car needed/not driving). We want someone with experience who is reliable, trustworthy, punctual and communicative. Communication, professionalism and punctuality are very important for us. We want someone who loves working with children, who will actively engaged with the kids and will not use her phone on the job. Responsibilities include: • Picking up the kids from preschool/school after-care program on occasions and as necessary (walking distance from home) • Bringing the kids to activities/classes in the neighborhood (walking distance) • Supervising playtime • Assisting with homework, engaging the children in fun and educational activities, etc. • Assisting with toilet training for the 2 years old child • Empty pack backs, preparing lunch boxes for next day (snacks/meals preparation) • Cook simple meals for dinner to feed the kids • Help with dinner cleanup (cleaning/tidying after the kids eat) • Tidying play area • Assisting with kids’ bath time • Manages bedtime routine • Assisting with other kids related tasks (e.g., tidying kids’ bedrooms, organizing kids toys, cleaning car seats/stroller, etc.) • Light household clean-up (e.g., cleaning the kitchen counter, wiping down surfaces in the kitchen, light sweeping or vacuuming) • Washing dishes, load/unload dishwasher • Laundry, washing bed sheets, etc. if time allows it • Running errands related to the children's needs if necessary (e.g., getting milk at the grocery store while on a walk with the kids)
