Location: Houston, Texas Start Date: July 18th- August 11th 2025 Schedule: 2-3 days a week, flexible on days and times. I am a care coach with Cariloop, an approved UrbanSitter partner, looking to fulfill a part-time Child Care and Household Services job for the summer for a family on UrbanSitter with the following need: "Hi there! We are an Houston, Texas family and we are looking for childcare and family assistant who drives. 2-3 days per week. We are looking for someone to help with our child who is 11 and on the spectrum. We would love to find someone who has experience caring for special needs children, and can keep her engaged and take her to and from activities, in addition to helping organize and light cleaning/picking up the house. Please respond only if you have experience with everything described below: Family Assistant: Organizing and planning her summer/fall activities schedule and working on some social building skills in the home. As well as light cleaning/picking up. Child: We have 1 amazing daughter (11) who is on the spectrum and who is full of personality, and affectionately known as Princess because she loves wearing tutus. Her primary mode of communication is her AAC device, but she also uses sign language and will speak when she wants to. She is high-functioning, with strong receptive communication, though she occasionally needs redirection or assistance, especially in unfamiliar settings. She’s fully independent with eating and using the restroom. She loves to roller skate, dance, color and create digital art, and is very curious—especially about science and tech-based activities.
