Overnight Newborn Support (Night Nurse / Nanny – No Certification Required) Location: Marina District, San Francisco Schedule: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (2–5 nights/week) Start Date: Late September / Early October (flexible start around due date) We’re looking for a warm, reliable night nanny or night nurse (no certification required) to help us care for our newborn due September 23. This is an overnight position ideal for someone with experience caring for infants who can support mom and baby during the early postpartum weeks. Responsibilities: • Caring for the baby overnight so mom can rest (diaper changes, soothing, bottle feeding or handing baby to mom for nursing) • Burping, swaddling, and settling baby back to sleep • Light baby-related tasks during sleep stretches (e.g., washing bottles, tidying baby area) • Keeping a calm, quiet, supportive overnight environment The ideal fit is: • Experienced with newborns (especially in the first 3 months) • Gentle, dependable, and intuitive with infant care • Comfortable with overnight shifts and working quietly and independently • A non-smoker and fluent in English Details: • No medical certification needed, but newborn experience is required • Looking for coverage 2–5 nights per week (we’re flexible) • Parents are kind, respectful, and easygoing—we’re just hoping to get some rest during the newborn stage!
