About this nanny job

Looking for child care. We are a warm and busy family in Ashburn looking for a reliable and kind-hearted part-time caregiver to help with after-school care for our two children, ages 12 and 7, beginning late July 2025. Schedule: • Monday–Friday • Approximately 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM • Occasional flexibility appreciated Responsibilities: • School pick-up (must have a valid driver’s license and a safe, insured vehicle) • Supervise and assist with homework • Prepare light snacks or meals • Engage the children in fun, enriching activities • Occasional help with tidying up common areas and kids’ laundry About the Kids: • Our daughter is 12, thoughtful, artistic, and on the autism spectrum (high functioning). She thrives with routine and gentle, clear communication. • Our son is 7, energetic, friendly, and loves outdoor play, sports, and building things. Ideal Candidate: • Experience with children, especially neurodiverse kids, is a plus • Responsible, patient, and upbeat • CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain) • Non-smoker • References required Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
