About this nanny job

We are looking for a great nanny for our 2.5 year old son and 5 month old daughter in Venice (near Abbot Kinney). Our son will start part-time preschool soon, and our daughter is on a more-or-less regular nap schedule. An ideal schedule is 3 days per week (Tu, Wed, Thurs OR Tues, Thurs, Sat) and typical hours will be 8am-5pm. Pay range will be $30-$40 per hour depending on experience. We are looking for someone who is: • Experienced in caring for multiples, particularly in the age ranges of our kids (infant and toddler) and demonstrated experience managing both kids at once • Fluent in English (french is a plus but not required), CPR certified, and up to date on all vaccinations • Comfortable driving and with a clean driving record (we will provide our car) to local parks, museums, and classes/school • Warm, creative, energetic, and nurturing; equally happy to play pretend and chase around our toddler son while providing snuggles and comfort to our infant daughter • Familiar with infant feeding and sleep schedules • Passionate about partnering with parents on child social, emotional, and physical development • Able to help with light housekeeping, primarily dishes and laundry • Comfortable around a shy, gentle 11 year old cat • Occasionally able to help with light meal prep for our infant Looking forward to hearing from you!
