About this nanny job

We’re a warm and thoughtful family looking for a nurturing and attentive caregiver for our 4-month-old baby girl. The position is part-time, from 2pm–8pm, Monday through Friday. One or both parents typically work from home in separate spaces, so you'll have support nearby if needed but will mostly have independent care responsibilities during your shift. We follow the RIE philosophy and deeply value respectful, responsive caregiving. We're looking for someone who is calm, observant, and attuned to our baby’s cues—someone who believes in giving infants space to explore safely, engages with them at their level, and avoids overstimulation or overly directive play. Our baby girl loves music and is already showing signs of being very curious and engaged, she’s always looking for new stimulation and connection. We’re hoping to find someone who enjoys singing, gentle interaction, and can support her blossoming curiosity in a mindful way. We strive to maintain a peaceful, screen-free environment and follow consistent routines for naps, feeds, and play. Light baby-related tidying (e.g., bottles, baby laundry, toy cleanup) during naps is appreciated, but our top priority is warm, attuned care. Infant CPR certification is required, and being multilingual is a plus, especially if you can comfortably converse or sing in a second language around the baby. We value communication, kindness, and a sense of humor. We’re hoping to find a caregiver who feels like an extension of our family.
