About this nanny job

We are a Seattle-based family (Montlake/Capitol Hill, near Arboretum) seeking an experienced, reliable and warm part-time caregiver to help us with weekend care for both of our kids (2 year old toddler & currently 4 month old infant), ideally starting in late July (potentially flexible on an August or September start). We are seeking someone to partner with us for a long-term commitment (i.e., at least 12+ months). OVERVIEW: - Family: Single Family, two children (4 month old girl & 2 year old toddler boy) - Location: Montlake/Capitol Hill - Parking: is easy to find & plentiful on our block - When: starting as soon as possible, but flexible to a later start (Aug/Sept) - Schedule: Saturday & Sundays, 10am - 7pm - Pay: $/hour DOE RESPONSIBILITIES: - Diapering - Age Appropriate Activities, Play & Reading - Bottles & Administering Meals - Maintain sleep schedule & routine, esp with infant - Organizing, tidying nursery & play area - Wash Bottles & Solids Bowls - Light housework (tidying toys, books, restocking diapering areas, etc) - Both kids are super joyful, sleep trained, on a schedule and eating solids (toddler)/ soon (baby). It would be a *plus* if you can drive (with a clean record) and have experience managing multiple kids, specifically baby/infant + toddler combo. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys toddlers and is looking for consistent additional hours with the potential for extra time, if you’d like (i.e., you’re open to occasional full-day or part-time coverage when preschool is closed, date-nights, etc)
