About this nanny job

We’re a warm, active family in West Phoenix (near 91st Ave & Thomas), planning a move to North Scottsdale in 2026. We’re seeking a loving, proactive, and organized nanny/family assistant who’s excited to become part of our family—not just clock in and out. We have two incredible kids: • Brij is 7, loves reading, crafts, science experiments, and is all about gymnastics. • Max just turned 5, is deep in his Lego and car era, and thrives with calm, nurturing energy and encouragement. This is a hybrid role: childcare + household support. A typical day includes picking up Max from kindergarten, snack and meal prep (for the kids and parents), school pickup and drop-off, enrichment-based play, and helping our home run smoothly. Errands, grocery runs, and keeping things tidy are also part of the mix (as time allows—kids come first!). We’d love someone who: • Has prior experience as a nanny, teacher, or mom themselves • Thinks ahead and takes initiative • Believes in teaching through play, creativity, and conversation • Models kindness, courtesy, curiosity, and self-sufficiency • Speaks Spanish (bonus, not required!) • Has a reliable car, valid license, and clean record 📅 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–4:30 PM, with one earlier start (7:00 AM) on Wednesdays. Up to 40+ hours during summer and school breaks (same hourly rate). Start date: Week of July 23 (flexible) 💸 Pay + Benefits: • Competitive hourly rate ($22–26/hr based on experience) • 7 paid holidays + PTO • Guaranteed 30 hours/week during the school year • Paid gas reimbursement for errands and pickups/drop-off We’re open to someone staying with us for a year (given the move), but ideally this becomes a long-term relationship.
