About this nanny job

We are looking for a warm, experienced, and highly dependable caregiver to help care for our three young children (ages 6, 4, and 2.5) in our home in Asbury Park. Our kids are energetic, creative, and curious—each with their own unique personality and needs. We’re seeking someone who can keep up with them physically, while also offering structure, guidance, and gentle discipline. The Ideal Candidate: • Energetic and Engaging – You should love working with active kids and know how to channel high energy into creative play, outdoor time, and constructive activities. • Patient and Nurturing – Our children thrive with calm, caring guidance. You must be kind, emotionally intelligent, and responsive to their needs. • Reliable and Trustworthy – Punctuality and dependability are essential. We need someone we can fully count on, especially during set schedule hours. • Experienced – Previous experience with multiple young children is a must. You should be confident handling meal prep, diapering, potty training, and organizing kid-friendly routines. • Creative and Fun – We’d love someone who brings arts and crafts ideas, imaginative play, and even simple science or music fun to the table. • Organized and Proactive – Someone who sees what needs to be done and takes initiative (tidying toys, prepping snacks, managing transitions calmly). • Comfortable with Light Household Help – While your main focus will be the kids, light help with children’s laundry, tidying up play areas, and prepping meals/snacks is expected. • Open to Water Play & Outdoor Time – Our kids love playing outside, swimming, and going for walks. Someone comfortable supervising water play and outdoor activities is ideal. • Bonus if CPR/First Aid Certified – Safety is very important to us. Schedule & Details: • Looking for coverage ideally Friday–Monday, 7:00am–7:00pm, but we are flexible for the right person. • Live-in or live-out candidates will be considered. • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. • Non-smoker, valid references required.
