We’re looking for a dependable and patient sitter for our 6-year-old daughter, Riley, who has high-functioning autism. Riley is imaginative, playful, and thrives with a warm, understanding caregiver who uses a progressive approach. Responsibilities include school or bus pick-up, helping with homework, preparing snacks, engaging in play, and light cleaning (just tidying up after playtime). While experience with neurodivergent children is a plus, it’s not required. We like for our babysitters to feel like part of the team. Our previous sitter was with us for two wonderful years before graduating and moving back home, and we’re hoping to find someone who can build a similar bond. This will be a consistent Monday or Tuesday sitting job, so reliability and dependability are very important. The position begins with a trial on August 18, 2025, to see how you and Riley connect, with regular weekly hours starting on September 8 or 9 from 2:30–6:30 PM.
