About this nanny job

We have two daughters. The older girl (2) is my step daughter, so she is only with us 50% of the time. She is a little more high maintenance, but very sweet and easy to care for. The younger girl (almost 2) is high energy, but very easy going. She's up for anything. We have a dream home with a playground and an indoor pool on about 6 acres of land, so there is an endless number of activities for the girls. We also have two dogs, a German Shepherd and a Doberman. The GSD is friendly. He warms up quickly and wants to play all the time. He does have a coordination issue and will sometimes bump into the girls. My husband is building a fence around the play area to keep the dogs out. The Doberman is not friendly until you get to know her. She takes a much longer time to warm up. Once she does warm up, she'll be your best friend. Getting used to the dogs might be an initial hurdle, but once they know you, they are very quiet. We need help because I am going back to work for a short time. My husband has to drive to Colorado Springs Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. We would prefer that our younger girl be able to stay home while he's out because she gets car sick very easily. We have some support from my mom, and my family will always be on call if you need any additional support. We're hoping for a part-time nanny, but we are willing to hire someone full time if necessary. My mom will continue to babysit infrequently (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday), but she only stays for 4 hours at a time, and she's only available in the afternoon when school starts.
