About this nanny job

We are seeking a caring and dependable Nanny to join our family to care for our 3 ½ year old son. Position will begin in late August or early September at our home in Greenville. A successful candidate must have the following qualifications: Successfully undergo and pass a background check; Experienced driver with a clean driving record; Must be CPR certified and provide proof of certification (or willing to get certified); Have at least 2 years of full-time child care experience; Provide references from families you've worked with; Agree to receive payments via payroll service where taxes are withheld and payments are deposited via direct deposit; Must have reliable transportation and be comfortable transporting child in your car (we will provide a car seat); Non-smoker; Enjoy caring for and engaging with a busy, active, 3 ½ year old boy! Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 12 pm - 6 pm Tuesday, Thursday: 8 am - 6 pm Duties: On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, pick-up from school at 12 pm (with some flexibility when school is out) Snack/meal prep for child Plan activities for child (parks, zoo, Children’s Museum, Kangaroo Jax, indoor play areas, or engaging play/games at home) Transport to activities, play dates, etc. Light housekeeping: Child’s laundry; tidy play areas, toys, and child’s room; tidy kitchen after child’s meals. Our son still naps for about 2 hours each day. On shorter days (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays) additional help with family meal prep and laundry would be great. A bit about our family: We are new to Greenville and will be relocating from Houston. Mom primarily works from home and will have occasional out of town travel and Dad works close by. We are looking for someone to join our family who can provide a safe and nurturing environment for our son to grow and learn. We offer paid vacation and sick days. Compensation will depend on experience and qualifications.
