About this nanny job

We are an active family in Phoenix, AZ looking for a fun, experienced nanny to care for our 3.5-year-old son. Preferred start date August 25th, but have some flexibility. He’s full of energy, curiosity, and big feelings, and we’re seeking someone who is confident, patient, and genuinely enjoys engaging with young children. Schedule • Mondays & Wednesdays: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM • Tuesdays & Thursdays: 12:00 PM – 3:30 PM (includes preschool pickup) Responsibilities Include • Preschool pickup (reliable transportation required) • Preparing meals and snacks • Planning fun, enriching outings (zoo, parks, pool, trampoline parks, etc.) • Supporting potty training • Responding to big emotions with calm, kind communication (no timeouts or harsh discipline) • Light housekeeping (cleaning up toys, dishes used during the day, etc.) We’re looking for a nanny who is: • Playful and creative, with minimal screen time used • Comfortable being hands-on and actively engaged in play • Experienced in working with toddlers and preschoolers • Calm and compassionate when handling tough moments • Dog-friendly – we have a high-energy Australian Shepherd who’s part of the crew! Requirements • Driver’s license and reliable transportation • Prior nanny or childcare experience • CPR/First Aid certification preferred Compensation • $20-25/hour, depending on experience • Mileage reimbursement for transporting our son If this sounds like a good fit for you, we’d love to connect and learn more about your background!
