About this nanny job

Hello! We’re a family of four looking for a kind, energetic and reliable part-time nanny to care for our two toddler boys (ages 2 and 4). I’m a former teacher and my husband is in the military. We both work from home and are preparing for an upcoming deployment, which makes finding the right support all the more important to us. Our boys are curious, active, and full of energy. They love playing outside, Thomas the Train, and reading. We deeply value a caregiver who will nurture their creativity and growth through play-based learning and hands-on activities. We’re looking for someone who feels like an extension of our family: engaged, friendly, and incredibly patient. A calm demeanor and the ability to handle toddler emotions with empathy is a must. We aim to keep screen time low and prioritize present, mindful care, so minimal phone use during time with the kids is important to us. What We’re Looking For: • Experience with toddlers • Engaging, playful, and grounded in positive discipline • Someone who’s dependable, communicative, and emotionally in tune • Willing to help with light tidying up after activities and meals • CPR/first aid certified is a plus This is a part-time position with flexible hours and we’re happy to work with the right person to create a schedule that works well for everyone.
