About this nanny job

We are looking for an after-school nanny for my 5-year-old, almost 6-year-old son. He is starting Kindergarten this coming school year, and we need someone to pick him up from school, take him to some planned after-school activities, some unplanned activities, or to our house to enjoy some downtime. Our son is autistic; he is bright, energetic, silly, loving, outgoing, and talkative, but he does need some additional support. He is enrolled in a home, play-based ABA program two nights a week, and we hope the nanny will participate in part of a session to ensure everyone is using the same strategies to support him. We have some flexibility in the start day and the schedule, specifically which days go to 5:30 pm versus 4 pm. Ideally, we would also love someone who could cover care during school breaks, but it is not a deal breaker.
