About this nanny job

Part-Time Infant Nanny (4-Month-Old) Schedule - Two days per week, 10 a.m.–4 p.m. (exact days are flexible and can be set together). - Position begins when our baby is 4 months old (early March 2026). Location - NW Portland home 20 minute walk (or 3 min drive) to a Forest Park trailhead, and 15 minute walk down to 23rd. What You’ll Do - Provide warm, attentive care with an unwavering focus on safety. - Read, sing, and engage in tummy time, sensory play, and other age-appropriate activities that foster early learning. - Take the baby on daily walks in the neighborhood and along nearby forest trails, weather permitting. - Keep a simple log of feedings, naps, diaper changes, and developmental milestones. - Handle light baby-related tasks (e.g., washing bottles, tidying play area, baby laundry). What We’re Looking For - At least two years of paid infant-care experience (or comparable combination of experience and early-childhood coursework). - Current Infant/Child CPR & First Aid certification and up-to-date immunizations (including Tdap and flu). - Demonstrated passion for early childhood development—someone who naturally talks, reads, and plays with babies. - Reliable, communicative, and comfortable strolling on forest trails. - Non-smoker with a clean background check and strong references. Bonus Points - Bilingual in Spanish (or another second language).
