About this nanny job

Hello, thank you for taking the time to read this in its entirety and only apply if our need aligns with your availability. I am located in Hayward and have two children. I need someone who my children can grow to be comfortable with and look forward to seeing- someone who would like to stick around with us for a while. Someone available in the morning to help get ready(clothes, hair, teeth) or doing lunches/snacks, or ‘⁶something around the house and then for the evening for pick up from school. 38 hours per week. I would prefer someone who could help out with light housekeeping, homework help, and feeding the kids. It's essential to have reliable transportation and the ability to transport the kids, someone who does not smoke and who is CPR certified. Schedule: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri: 7 - 830a & 12p - 6p Wednesday: 7 - 830a & 12p - 5p Occasionally my youngest has minimum days at 11:40 instead of 12:40. I'd also love that if they're only moderately sick, you're willing and able to stay with them all day. About my kids; they're 10 and 5. They may be slow to warm up but I promise once they're comfortable with you they'll both have you cracking up! They like to play outside riding bikes and scooters. Going for walks/exploring. Listening to music. Playing Minecraft together and bickering about it. Drawing. Etc. About you; caring, responsible, kind, patient, punctual, like to take initiative, inclusive, good communicator, willing to use digital tools for organization (i.e. calendars, docs, spreadsheets, or maybe an app that “has it all”- willing to discuss what works for you), ability to accurately relay messages from teachers or other parents, as needed. Fun but firm; while remaining kind. And more…. You tell me!!!! Flexible in regards to start date: Currently we have a great caregiver who we love but they're a grad student who needs more flexibility than I can offer.
