About this nanny job
We’re a fun, busy family in Tribeca looking for a responsible, energetic, and caring nanny to join our household part-time. This role is perfect for a college student or recent grad who loves kids, is highly dependable, and enjoys being part of an active family’s routine. Schedule: • Weekdays: Afternoon/evening coverage for school pick-up and transportation to and from after-school activities. • Weekly Date Night: One evening each week. • Occasional Weekends: Daytime coverage for a few hours on select weekends. • Approx. 20 hours/week (set schedule with some flexibility). Responsibilities: • Safely transport children from school to activities and home (reimbursed for Uber/taxi if needed). • Engage kids in fun, age-appropriate activities. • Help with light tidying related to the children (toys, after-meal cleanup, etc.). • Communicate with parents about schedules, plans, and needs. • Occasionally assist with meal prep for the kids. Requirements: • Responsible, punctual, and caring. • Comfortable navigating NYC and familiar with transportation options. • Clean driving record (preferred but not required). • Experience working with children. • CPR/First Aid certified or willing to get certified.
