Hii, my name is Bejoy, and I'm reaching out to see if you might be interested and available for a part-time nanny position, with potential for full time in the future, to help care for our infant son, who was born 8 weeks prematurely in May 2025. He is now a little over 3 months old. We’re located in Hicksville, NY and are looking for someone caring, reliable, and flexible to join us potentially long-term, ideally starting in August or September 2025. We mainly need care on Tuesdays through Thursdays, with flexible hours between 6/7 AM and 3/4 PM. I mostly work from home but, on days I go into the office, I may start later or return earlier, so your arrival and departure times could shift accordingly, and you would be paid for the number of hours worked. Occasionally, we may not need coverage on those days due to vacation or time off, and while rare, there may be times we’d need help on a Monday or Friday instead. We're looking for someone who has experience caring for infants (ideally under 6 months), is CPR and First Aid certified, has a car for reliable transportation, is a non-smoker, and is not exposed to smoke or pets. Responsibilities would include keeping our son safe, changing diapers and clothes, administering any vitamins or medications, paced bottle feeding, burping, swaddling, putting him to sleep, holding him upright after feeds, washing and warming bottles (we have a bottle washer and warmer), prepping bottles if needed, keeping the environment clean, and engaging him in developmental activities like tummy time, reading contrast books, sensory play, singing, playing, and active interaction. We ask that there be absolutely no screen time at all (TV, phones, tablets, etc.).
