About this nanny job

Hi there! We are looking for a professional, proactive, and reliable Nanny/Household Manager/ to care for our two boys and help manage our household. This person will be responsible for providing outstanding care to our boys when they are not school. Minimum 10hrs/week, usually 2:30-5:30pm on applicable school days. We need someone who is organized and able to manage their time efficiently. As a Household Manager, you will be responsible for assisting withhousehold management tasks such as laundry, dishes, restocking, running errands, and assisting with other household duties. About the Children: Our boys (10 & 8) are two sweet and curious kids. They are driven and energetic (no more than the typical elementary aged boy) and need lots of physical activity to get tired enough to sleep well through the night. About the family: Our family lives in a single-family home in Eastport, Annapolis (all non-smokers). We have two adults (dad and long-term partner, Katie, the two boys, and our adorable one-year-old hypoallergenic dog (Puck). As we split the boys with their mom (50/50%), who lives in Arnold, Annapolis (about 10-15 minutes from each other) so the schedule changes week to week. In general, we switch every three nights, so this person would have to be able to work different days based on the week (with plenty of lead time though so planning is completely doable). The Ideal Nanny: - Must have experience as a nanny or household manager. - Ability to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for two elementary aged boys - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Ability to teach children and provide homework oversight - Ability to prepare nutritious meals - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Additional Job Details: An ideal nanny would be great with children, with a talent for both intellectual and physical development, and who is kind, empathetic, and gentle. Can do personal assisting tasks like coordinating schedules. Compensation: $20-28 based on experience.
