About this nanny job

We are a family in Fairfax, VA looking for a full-time nanny to care for our sweet 15-month-old son beginning in September 2025. We’re hoping to find someone loving, dependable, and experienced with toddlers who can provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for him as he grows. The position is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with 40 guaranteed hours each week. We offer competitive pay, overtime pay for approved extra hours, paid federal holidays, 10 days of PTO, and up to five paid sick days. Day to day, we’re looking for someone who will keep our little one happy, safe, and learning—through play, outdoor time, meals and snacks, and consistent daily routines. Light child-related tasks like tidying up, laundry, and cleaning toys are part of the role, along with keeping open communication with us. CPR/First Aid certification and up-to-date vaccinations are important to us, as well as a warm, trustworthy, and professional attitude.
