About this nanny job

Mother's helper for two energetic, sweet girls in our home after school until bedtime. They enjoy playing with a wide range of toys, crafting and playing games. Short periods of "screen time" is okay. Important to stay with the girls and guide them if disagreements between them crop up. Hours are flexible, can start as early as 430 and end between 8-8:30. The first full week and third week of September are key dates. May continue beyond that, 2-3 days a week during the school year. Engage in playing, help with snacks, tidying to keep doorways and non-play areas clear before end of evening. Gentle reminder of "safety first" when they attempt to take over space not for them (kitchen, for example). Weather permitting, outside on porch or backyard is an option before dark. Experience as supporting children having a range of emotions and some impulsive behavior.
