Hello! Our family is in search of a full-time (guaranteed 32 hours per week) nanny to care for our newborn son when mom returns to work the week of May 13th, 2024. Please reach out if you think you’d be a good fit or want to know more! About Us: We’re Nick, Rachel, and baby Arthur. Arthur will be 3 months at the start of this position. We also have two dogs (Buckley, Spider-Man) and a cat (Milo) who will be in the home.Nick and Rachel both work full-time in healthcare. Rachel works from home in an office upstairs. She may occasionally pop in to see the baby and breastfeed but will likely be occupied most of the day. Nick works at a hospital in Minneapolis but may be present in the house when he has a weekday off. We live in the Mac Groveland neighborhood with lots of great walking areas immediately around us. Pay: -$20-22, depending on experience -We will provide paid holidays, PTO, and sick time. Schedule: - 4 days a week, 32 hours guaranteed. Preferred day off Tuesday or Wednesday (negotiable) - Flexible to occasionally swap hours to work on evenings or weekends, if Nick opts to be home on a weekday with Arthur. Nick works in healthcare/his schedule changes. We know his schedule well in advance and would plan ahead with you. The perfect nanny for us will be someone who is: - Enthusiastic, nurturing, reliable, detail-oriented, and a great communicator - Has newborn experience - Knowledge of engaging, creative, developmentally appropriate activities, comfortable bringing the baby to engage in the outdoors - Light, baby-related housework including laundry, washing and sterilizing bottles and pump parts, tidying nursery, and some simple food prep once he begins solids - Comfortable with multiple animals who will want your attention and sit close to you on furniture, willing to take the dogs out to the yard on a leash 1-2x/day. - Flexible and adaptable is key! Other Qualifications: Non-smoker, CPR certified, COVID and Flu vaccinated and boosted, willing to wear masks if exposed to illness, willing to do background check, has a driver’s license and at least 2 references.
