About this nanny job

Hi! We’re the Jacobs family and we need someone to fill the gap between our daughter’s daycare start date and when my husband Eric goes back to work. We have a sweet daughter name Ella who sleeps most of the day. This job only requires the feeding and changing of Ella during daytime hours (roughly 7:40am-5:15pm) with the possibility of extra hours if you’re interested in date night babysitting. We’re happy to pick up or drop you off if you don’t have reliable transportation. We do have a large dog who is friendly, but there will be no need for you to do any of the walking or feeding in addition to taking care of Ella. The dog is very calm, old and sleeps 90% of the day. We’re looking for someone who’s reliable and responsible. If you need the occasional Friday or day off in general (because who doesn’t need a summer day off!), my husband and I can both be flexible to accommodate that. We don’t care what you do with your time during the day… feel free to work remote for another job (we have monitors you can use), watch tv, play on your phone… whatever you want, as long as you’re able to adequately take care of Ella. We also don’t mind if you’d like to double up and care for another family’s child at the same time (nanny sharing). If you’re a college student or just between jobs, my husband (finance) and I (marketing) are happy to be references for future roles.
